Protect your account with two-step verification

To better safeguard your account information, F&G is introducing two-step verification on our Policyholder Portal.

What is two-step verification?

Two-step verification is an industry-standard security protocol that provides an additional layer of security to protect your account information.

What should I expect?

Sometime between February and the end of April 2025, you’ll be prompted to enable two-step verification when you log in to the Policyholder Portal. You will do this by entering a code sent via text message, voice call or through your preferred authenticator app. At this time, you may also be prompted to reset your password, if needed for increased security.

NOTENot all policyholders will receive the prompt to set up two-step verification right away. To ensure we’re able to support you during this change, policyholders will receive the update in waves between February and April.

From that point on, you'll log in using your email address and new password, if you were prompted to set one. Two-step verification will remain active, protecting your personal information when you use F&G’s Policyholder Portal.
