New, higher MYGA rates effective February 1

We’re happy to announce rate increases on our FG Guarantee-Platinum^® 3, 5 and 7 multi-year guaranteed annuity (MYGA) effective February 1.

• 3-Year: Increasing 20 bps from 1.95% to 2.15%
• 5-Year: Increasing 25 bps from 2.45% to 2.70%
• 7-Year: Increasing 20 bps from 2.75% to 2.95%

Important reminders

• Rates apply to new business issued with the February 1 effective date and later.
• Requests to reissue previously issued contracts with new, higher rates will not be honored.
• Standard rate lock rules apply. Please refer to our rate lock procedures for more details.

There is a 30-day window at the end of each 3-, 5- or 7-year guarantee period where your client may withdraw all or part of the annuity value without application of surrender charges or market value adjustment. A new guarantee period and surrender charge period will begin after the end of the previous ones.
