Fidelity & Guaranty Life adds MVA Rider, Changes to GMWB Roll-Up Rate and Vesting Bonus on Income and WealthBuilder Fixed Indexed Annuity Series

The Income and WealthBuilder® fixed indexed annuity series will change for those applications received April 14, 2015 and later. We will add the Market Value Adjustment (MVA) rider to be consistent with our other FIA products. The Guaranteed Minimum Withdrawal Benefit (GMWB) roll-up rate will change and the vesting bonus percent will be updated.
Income and WealthBuilder Changes

The following changes will be made:

  • The MVA Rider will be added*
  • The GMWB roll-up rate will change to 7% 
  • The vesting bonus will be:
    • Income and WealthBuilder 7
      • New vesting bonus - 6%
      • New vesting bonus ages 76 and up - 3%
    • Income and WealthBuilder 10
      • New vesting bonus - 8%
      • New vesting bonus ages 76 and up - 4%
Transition Rules

Applications received on or after April 14, 2015 will be issued with the MVA Rider, the new vesting bonus percent and the updated GMWB roll-up rate.
